You put your left leg in….
According to the current vernacular, if I went out socially, but didn’t actually go anywhere physically outside a household of some sort, then I’m not going ‘out out’.
What does this mean? Does this mean that, if I socialised at a friends house, that I’d be ‘in out’? Or ‘out in’?
How about if I had a night in, in my own home, would I then be ‘in in’?
Has this became some bizarre form of social Hokey Cokey??
Ok, how about this – if I go on holiday, abroad, and spend a night in a hotel room, could I say I was ‘out out in’??
Maybe I’m taking this too far.
