New single from upcoming Essex rockers.

Trash Monroe - Addiction Of Duplicities Part 1

1. S.O.B
2. Stupid Again

Melany Dantes-Mortimer – Vocals
Brad Hurr – Guitar
Ken Mortimer – Bass
David Pankhurst – Drums
Matt Rowe – 12-String Guitar

This single is part one of Trash Monroe’s ‘Addiction Of Duplicities’ series, with part two to follow soon, and there’s enough reason here to justify paying attention to what follows. Soundwise, TM are hard to pin down, but it’s a sound flavoured by grunge and classic rock with contemporary influences, potentially able to appeal to fans of many genres of rock. With a gothic air of fragility and drama, mixed with a punk-like fierceness, frontwoman Melany holds nothing back in her lyrics or her delivery of them, wearing her emotions on her sleeve. Each song is an honest, no-holds-barred performance from the heart, and having seen them live first-hand, can say that this also applies to their gigs. Both tracks ‘S.O.B’ and ‘Stupid Again’ are catchy and memorable, fine demonstrations of Melany’s vocal range, catchy guitar work and tight chemistry between all members.
This is raw, honest rock ‘n’ roll, with the attitude of punk married to the sound of classy classic rock – no pandering to trends or bandwagons here, and they sound all the better for it. Keep a watch out for part 2 of ‘Addiction of Duplicities’ from these Essex-based rockers.
